His black hair is wind swept which adds to the menace the masks conveys. The upper portion of the masks has a large third eye and 5 white skulls. Mahakala masks from Nepal are made to hang in the entrances or insides of Hindu temples and homes. Their terrifying nature is used to keep evil forces out of a temple or home by scarring them away thus protecting the good forces within. Hanging Instructions: Two holes are precarved into the top portion of the back of the mask. String is tied through the holes for immediate hanging. Care: Dust the piece as needed. You can use a wood cleaner to really make it shine. Shipping is automatically calculated by UPS for shipping within the US and Canada.
