 | SOLD Exotic Himalayan Mask 27"Height: 27 inches Special Features: This mask is very interesting in that is has a yali on top of Red Bhairava. Red Bhairava has a deep red hue, which contrasts beautifully with his black curly hair. His eyes have an intensity that bore thru you to your soul. His lips are pealed back to expose his fangs. Hanging from his well-carved ears are two beautiful earrings with a small flame on the end. The yali resting on top of Bhairava is yellow with red flaming eyebrows. A yali is a mythological figure that combines several types of animals into one beast. Usually there are aspects of an elephant, alligator and birds in a yali. You can easily see the upturned trunk of an elephant in this mask as well as a set of horns. Hanging Instructions: Two holes are precarved into the top portion of the back of the mask. String is tied through the holes for immediate hanging. Care: Dust the piece as needed. You can use a wood cleaner to really make it shine.
